Professional athletes, who consume a lot of energy, need to supplement with carbohydrates to maintain their muscles and keep moving. Produced by Takuro Nishimura and supervised by Masashi Hachiya, Kikuchi utilizes the bean paste making and dried sweet potato processing techniques it has cultivated since its founding to produce a product that uses mainly dried sweet potatoes from Ibaraki Prefecture, adzuki beans from Hokkaido, and sugar beets from Hokkaido, without any additives or artificial sweeteners, so that athletes can enjoy a stress-free and safe supplementary diet.
Packed with carefully selected ingredients!
Red beans (from Hokkaido)
Adzuki beans are a superfood that represents Japan.
Adzuki beans contain most nutrients except for vitamin C, and the starch in particular changes into resistant starch when boiled, which acts in the same way as dietary fiber and helps regulate the intestinal environment.
Beet sugar (produced in Hokkaido)
It is rich in natural minerals such as sodium, potassium, calcium, and phosphorus. It also contains natural oligosaccharides that regulate the intestinal environment. It also has the characteristic of causing a slower rise in blood sugar levels than other carbohydrates.
Setouchi Flower Seaweed Salt
Sun-dried domestic seaweed is soaked in the waters of the Seto Inland Sea and boiled down in a flat pot to extract the seaweed soaked nigari. Domestic seaweed is then sun-dried once more and soaked in the seaweed soaked nigari to bring out the umami components of the seaweed, creating a luxurious sea salt.
