Nautilus

In 1969, Arthur Jones led the struggling Miami Dolphins professional football team to the Super Bowl in 1972, leading them to consecutive championships in 1973 and 1974. His greatest invention is said to be the variable resistance cam, or "Nautilus Cam." Nautilus, named for the cam's resemblance to a chambered nautilus shell, manufactures machines that use the "Nautilus Cam," which combines the properties of both rotational resistance and variable resistance.
The diagram on the left above shows the load resistance of arm curls to train the biceps. In the case of non-rotating resistance, shown on the far right of the diagram, the load is applied efficiently at position 1, but as you move from 2 to 3, the load on the biceps decreases rapidly. However, because rotational resistance with a circular cam generates a constant torque, the load does not weaken throughout the exercise. In addition, an irregularly shaped elliptical cam can operate to change the load in accordance with the human force. In other words, the Nautilus Cam is a machine structure that faithfully reproduces human force.

1. ErgoGrip Technology
The wrist is completely free to move, allowing for a full range of motion from maximum extension to maximum contraction!
②4-bar linkage system
Automatically adjusts resistance to changing muscle strength.
3) 22 different optimal cams were used on 25 machines.
The Nautilus Cam automatically changes resistance and is designed to provide the optimal load for each exercise.
④Rotational resistance
The movement trajectory from start to finish is wider, allowing for circular movement that matches the movement of the shoulder blades.
With a variety of features , Nautilus machines can help you take your training to the next level.
